Stories

The thing about stories is that All of us carry a story inside of us. Some are born and live their existences in between the pen's ink and the paper's skin, while some rust away in the crevices of our minds, the layers of our soul and the dried ink of an untouched pen upon an abandoned piece of paper.  But then again, Not all stories are meant to be told. And some are born just to die, like distant stars of yore.

Soul

#questionnotplease When you are in the arms of nature do this. Shut your mind from all the thoughts and let the winds be absorbed through your skin to your heart. Feel their coolness, warm the cockles of your heart, as your eyes wander and take in environ's beauty. While the views and winds influence your thoughts, think of what all the world has to offer.  Think of constraints, physical and mental that you have put on yourself and think if they are necessary. May be they aren't.  Call of the soul - Lucky to be witnessing the winds of change in so many aspects.

The Racing Mind

Image
My mind is always racing 24/7 🙃 whether it be work, what I’m going to wear tomorrow, or new business ideas… that to do list is pages long. Certain things can wait and some just can’t.  The best thing I have learned and gotten into a really good habit of doing is that when someone asks for a recommendation or if you’ve promised something on the spot, do it right away or set an alarm for yourself to get that task done. No one likes a ‘Talker’ 🙅🏻‍♀️if you’re going to offer anything to someone you better follow through. This builds trust and loyalty, especially when it comes to your clients.  Never promise anything you can’t deliver. Don’t give hard dates on tasks and projects if you can’t follow through in time. As much as your time is valuable, the other persons’ is too.  What’s your good practise? 💹📇 #theentrepreneurlife

Pause

Athletes perform at their best when they learn to how to slow the game down. The same rings true with life, it can be fast  bu,t it doesn’t have to be. You might be mistaking activity for productivity, wearing busyness as a badge of honor only to lay your head down at night asking, “What did I do today?” On the other hand, you might be so overwhelmed by your enormous list of to-do’s that you avoid it completely, only to be weighed down by the guilt of inaction. When was the last time you took time to pause? Have you ever considered that the speed of the life is causing you to feel acted upon instead of remembering that you have the power to act? As you pause for a moment, think about your purpose, what do you really want, what matters, what you need to start and stop, what are you're grateful for and what do you need to do to keep going; wherein you'll realize that you have all the answers inside of you, you just need to take the time to listen. #actionsrevealcommitment

Nostalgia

If there’s one dish that feels like a warm hug it has to be my childhood favourite, my mum’s ‘varanfal’. Having originated in Gujrat, the simple home food is called as ‘Dal – Dhokli’ in the state, and is a Sunday meal in most traditional gujarati households. A perfect combination of whole wheat roti bits simmered in khatti meethi dal, usually classified as a sumptuous one - dish meal.  With its various names in the different regions, it is also called daalfal in Rajasthan, varanfal or chakulya in Maharashtra and mutkule in Madhya Pradesh. This preparation is an ideal comfort food for everyone as it combines goodness of both roti and dal into one.  #माँकाप्यार

आणि झाला बालपणीच्या कट्ट्याचा पुनर्जन्म ...  An artist since childhood, Gauri 's work has always been soulful. Simply, it reflects what has helped shape her creative voice, and  has led her artistic work to the inspirational heights it has scaled. The emotion carried and transferred in each piece is powerful, and easily conveyed to the viewer. Not to mention the seeming ease with which she conveys the instilled quality, to the viewer. Recently she showcased her  subtle work during the remodeling of Dashbhuja Ganesh Mandir, done with just a couple of colors, yet depicting the soul and mood. Always respect the people working around you. The cleaning staff, the office boy, the juniors, the managers and so on... Everyone works the same amount as you. They are all there the same number of hours. They all have duties and families to provide for. No one is better than the other. No one is married to their title.  Titles come and go. We are all working out of our comfort zones and would rather be with our families, therefore, you should always try to provide a good working environment to those around you. #Goodthoughts #balance #respect

तसा जरा .. खरतर बराच उशीरच झाला आहे.. पण तरी...  I often ponder on how powerful we are as humans. So much energy, drive, viciousness, passion. But it is all limited to our LIFE. Like ourselves, our thoughts, passions, ambitions are MORTAL. have you ever thought that we have the power to leave an immortal mark on the world?  We can create something that lives on even after we are no more..Therefore, LIVE TO LEAVE A LEGACY!

Blushing Sun

Image
Love on the hill top . . . The Sun goes down and the twilight fills up the sky with colours and makes her blush. It's for a few moments but it's always magical. That's why Maya loves watching sunsets for they remind her of him, her yearning to be with him. She waits for her own moment of twilight and longs to be filled up with colours of him. #notfornormalhumans

Hold on

Image
The air is thick. Muggy. Heavy. Rain drops from the sky. Light and fresh. The river is full of life. Fish pop up their heads. I sit here and wait for the light to reach me. My mind wanders like the surface of the river. Moving in every direction. Ducks visit. They quack hello and start a conversation about the weather. Fish jump for freedom only to land in the deep. Insects scatter across the surface intent on teasing the fish who have an empty belly. The wind has picked up and slightly ripples the water like sand. The littlest things are the most beautiful when you stop to take notice of them.

Bloom

Opening your window in the morning to the sight of fiery bright flowers and green leaves is a moment of a lifetime. For some reason, it gives a lot of hope and cheerfulness. The laden tree with scarlet bright flowers is quite a site to behold.   Nothing is more uplifting than the sight of these flowers midst grey weather. When the skies start to grey, the winds begin to cool and climate remains sultry, the its petals unfold brightly on the trees and fall bravely on the ground. Announcing the monsoon in wait, its colors are a harbinger of good times to come. A respite from heat, and relief from drought, the bright colors portray life and the vibrancy. Akin to bright vermillon and its sacred purpose, gulmohar has a reason of its own to live and thrive. One of most beautiful sights and smells of this season is the gentle drizzle of rain, dampened earth and the wet petals of Gulmohar flowers strewn on the asphalt road. Midst the gray weather and grey asphalt lie hundreds of scarlet liv...

Tomorrow

It's better to save some questions for later, not today, not today. Some questions festooned over your mind akin to the wind in your hair scattered carelessly like play-toys of toddlers who do not understand how to comprehend a scene with miniature objects to make sense of a world that spans too big in their arm's length  these questions, you repeat to yourself over and over to wipe the dust over your understanding of yourself and the universe these are far too many hard nuts to crack in one day may be it's best to be the toddler again and choose the hard work for another day not today, not today.

Soak in

Image
Life away from life. Where even time takes a pause to standstill, pine scented fresh mountain air to breathe, quite & lonely pathways where you can hear the occasional Hornbill, lush green forests, silent valleys, enchanting glades, brilliant crimson flaming sunsets, floating clouds, misty hills, velvety black nights spread under a canopy woven with glittering jewels, overwhelming tranquility all call for peace of the soul.

Embrace

When you find people who unconditionally take you as you are, hold onto them so very tight. They're the ones who don't mind if you're having a bad day, they'll stay with you anyways. They're the ones who care about how you're really feeling, even when your words are stuck inside you. They're the people you can talk to without worrying about what they'll think; they take you as you are regardless. Make sure that whenever you find people like this, you keep them close. And whenever you get the chance, be one of them too.

Becoming

Back in 2014, blogging used to be fun, informative and supportive. Now it's all about opulence, attractiveness and mind numbing manipulation. Making strong confident women look vulnerable, making an ugly hearted person look sexy, making a harmful product look irresistible, LIKE !!! But WHY??? I wonder where all the sensible people went because without them it makes no sense for anyone of us to create sensible content on social media anymore. Life is a lot more than glamorous shots, luxurious vacations and body stereotypes in the name of artistic representation. People need to be more aware of the realities and how almost all of us are fundamentally living the same lives with similar joy and similar stress as well. People who glorify themselves on camera are not always living a glamorous life and people who live simple can often have more inspiring stories overlooked by society. Social Media itself isn't helping REALISM. Unless you look a certain way, spend a certain amount or p...

Nourish

The condiments for a perfect relationship do not exist, or maybe they grow in far too many places at once for you to pick them up, from a garden and hand them all to your lover, neatly packed in jars, sans expiry dates for some days you need cardamom strong and some days you need turmeric crushed into paste, rubbed over skin and on some days you need a dash of cinnamon sprinkled over with love to add flavour and yet on some days all you need is some chilli to spice it up in all the right ways.
